As an Emmy-award winning makeup artist, Cindy has worked on many iconic motion pictures as well as hit television shows. She has been Department Head on most films, occasionally doing personal makeup for top-line stars. Cindy was the personal makeup artist for Mindy Kaling on her popular show The Mindy Project. She has also worked with such prominent and demanding directors as Steven Spielberg, Steven Soderbergh, Joel Cohen, Rob Marshall, The Farrelly Brothers, Jan Debont, Steven Antin, Peter Berg, Martha Coolidge, Joe Roth, Tim Demme, Jim Abrams, just to name a few.
Cindy has added her contributions to a wide variety of classic movies such as: Her, Burlesque, G.I. Joe, No Reservations, Ocean’s 12, Intolerable Cruelty, Chicago, Smokin’ Aces, There’s Something About Mary, Grosse Pointe Blank, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, and more. In 1999 she was the Department Head on The Haunting and Catherine Zeta-Jones loved her work so much that she insisted that Cindy be contracted as her personal makeup artist whenever possible for the next twelve years.
